DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON MASSMART HOLDINGS LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("MSMIHB")
With reference to the interim dividend announcement, the Directors of Massmart
Holdings Limited have declared an interim dividend of 252 cents per ordinary
share payable on Tuesday, 23 March 2010 to ordinary shareholders recorded in
the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 19 March 2010.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
MSMIHB, will receive a Massmart Holdings Limited interim dividend of 252 cents
per security on Tuesday, 23 March 2010 in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday,12 March 2010.
MSMIHB Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 15 March 2010, and the record date
will be Friday, 19 March 2010.
