DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE BTI SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given that as a result of the dividend declaration relating
to BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO PLC (BTI) shares, the holders of BTISIA share
instalments will receive a BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO PLC (BTI) dividend of
861.51268 cents per Instalment. If approved by shareholders at the Annual
General Meeting to be held on 28 April 2010, the dividend will be payable on 6
May 2010 to shareholders registered on either the UK main register or the
South African branch register on 12 March 2010 (the record date).
Last date to trade cum dividend Friday, 05/03/2010
Ex-dividend Date Monday, 08/03/2010
