Sappi`s Annual General Meeting was held in Johannesburg this afternoon
(01 March 2010) and all resolutions as proposed at the meeting were duly passed
by the respective requisite majorities. Ordinary Resolution No 4 (to place 25
million shares of the unissued shares of the Company, including Treasury shares,
under the control of the directors), was withdrawn by the Company.
