GENERAL MEETING ("AGM")
COMPETITION COMMISSION APPROVAL
Shareholders are referred to the announcement on the Securities Exchange News
Service of the JSE Limited ("SENS")dated 25 August 2009 in terms of which Ideco
acquired the remaining 70% of the shares in KBS-South Africa not already owned
by Ideco from Kroll Associates (Pty) Limited ("the Kroll transaction").
Subsequent to the conclusion thereof, the Competition Commission however ruled
the Kroll transaction as a small merger required approval in accordance with
Chapter 3 of the Competition Act. Accordingly, Ideco shareholders are advised
that the Competition Commission approved the transaction unconditionally.
NO CHANGE STATEMENT
Shareholders are further advised that the reviewed results for the year ended 31
August 2009 that were published on SENS on 8 December 2009, contain no
modifications to the audited results. Shareholders will be advised on 5 March
2010 of the date on which the annual report will be distributed to shareholders.
The annual financial statements were audited by Ideco`s auditors, BDO South
Africa Incorporated. Their report is available for inspection at the company`s
registered office.
NOTICE OF AGM
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of Ideco will be held on
Friday, 16 April 2010 at Ideco`s business address being Merton House, Eton
Office Park East, 17 Harrison Avenue, Epsom Downs, Bryanston at 10h00 to
transact the business as stated in the notice of the annual general meeting
included in the annual report.
