TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2009 (Replacement of
announcement sent at 11h22)
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become aware that the financial
results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from
the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Primeserv accordingly advises that management`s review of the financial results
expected for the 12 months ended 31 December 2009 has indicated that Primeserv
will show a decline in headline earnings per share of between 27% and 35%, and a
decline in earnings per share of between 27% and 35% for the 12 months ended 31
December 2009 compared to the 12 months ended 31 December 2008.
Consequently these results are expected to be in line with the full year results
that were anticipated at the time Primeserv`s interim results for the 6 months
ended 30 June 2009 were released.
The financial results on which this trading statement has been based have not
been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The financial results of
the company will be published on or before Wednesday, 10 March 2010.
