DEALINGS IN SECURITIES
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 30 November 2007 in which it
was disclosed that MS Varachia Holdings Company (Pty) Ltd ("MS Varachia
Holdings") an associate of Simeka director, MS Varachia, had entered into a zero
cost collar hedge over 12,500,000 Simeka ordinary shares.
In terms of the zero cost collar, if at the relevant expiry dates the share
price was below R1.25, put options granted to MS Varachia Holdings in
respect of the shares would be automatically exercised without further
reference to MS Varachia Holdings. Accordingly the following shares in
terms of put options granted under the zero cost collar were sold:

Clearance to deal: Under the terms of the zero cost collar the
put options were exercised automatically
and without reference to the director or
his associate.
All options under the zero cost collar have now been exercised.
The records reflecting MS Varachia Holdings` shareholding were adjusted to
reflect a disposal of the above shares in the annual report for the year ended
31 May 2008 and as such there will be no further adjustment following the
exercise of the put options.
