EASTPLATS TO BE ADDED TO THE S&P/TSX GLOBAL MINING INDEX
Mr. Ian Rozier, President and CEO of Eastern Platinum Limited ("Eastplats") is
pleased to report that Standard and Poor`s Canadian Index Operations will be
including Eastplats in the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index at market open on Monday,
March 22, 2010.
"We are pleased to return to the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index which is an
important benchmark on the Toronto Stock Exchange. This recognizes the value of
the Company`s assets and will reinforce our access to the index-based investment
community and further enhance our shareholder base," said Ian Rozier.
2009 fourth quarter and year-end results
Eastplats is scheduled to release its 2009 fourth quarter and year-end results
on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 and to host a telephone conference call on the same
day at 10:00 a.m. Pacific (1:00 p.m. Eastern) to discuss these results. The
conference call may be accessed by dialing 1-800-319-4610 in Canada and the
United States, or 1-604-638-5340 internationally.
The conference call will be archived for later playback until Wednesday April 7,
2010 and can be accessed by dialing 604-638-9010 or 1-800-319-6413 and using the
