NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements for the year
ended 31 December 2009, posted on Friday, 12 March 2010 are identical to the
audited results, which were published on SENS on Thursday, 25 February 2010.
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of Mercantile will be
held at 12:30 on Thursday, 27 May 2010 in the Boardroom, First Floor,
Mercantile Bank, 142 West Street, Sandown, Sandton. The notice of annual
general meeting is issued with the annual report, which contains the annual
financial statements of Mercantile for the year ended 31 December 2009.
