CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Makalani linked unitholders ("Unitholders") are referred to the firm
intention announcement released on SENS on 23 February 2010 ("Firm
Intention Announcement") and the subsequent update announcement released on
SENS on 10 March 2010 regarding the timing of the proposed offer by
Makalani to Unitholders to repurchase their Makalani units and the
subsequent proposed delisting of Makalani from the JSE Limited
(collectively referred to as the "proposed transaction").
Certain aspects of the proposed transaction are being reviewed, which may
have a material effect on the terms of the proposed transaction. Makalani
will make an announcement in this regard as soon as it is able to do so.
Unitholders are therefore advised to exercise caution when dealing in their
linked units until a further announcement is made.
