Further to the announcement dated 6 April 2010 regarding the Sterkfontein coal
resource statement ("the announcement"), shareholders are advised that the
Coal Resource Statement referred to in the announcement and which is available
on Keaton Energy`s website, is an extract from a Competent Person`s Report
dated March 2010, prepared by Mr David van Wyk of GeoCoal Services, who is a
"Competent Person" as defined in the SAMREC Code.
Mr David van Wyk has given his consent for the public reporting of the Coal
Resource Statement.
