Notice is hereby given that preference dividend number 148 at a rate of 6% per
annum for the period ended 31 March 2010 (being 6cps) has been declared to all
preference shareholders.
The salient dates for the preference dividend are as follows:

- Preference shares trade "ex"
dividend Monday, 10 May 2010
- Record date Friday, 14 May 2010
- Payment date Monday, 17 May 2010
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday 10
May 2010 and Friday 14 May 2010, both days inclusive.
