DISPOSAL OF LOWVELD BRANCHES TO MGK OPERATING COMPANY (PTY) LTD ("MGK")
AFGRI wishes to inform shareholders that further to the announcement on 22
July 2009, all the conditions precedent relating to the disposal of 10 retail
branches in the Lowveld area to MGK ("the Transaction") have been fulfilled,
including Competition Commission approval. Accordingly the Transaction will
now be implemented according to its terms as detailed in the announcement of
22 July 2009.
