CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Dawn is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Sankie
Mthembi-Mahanyele as an Independent Non-Executive member of the board,
effective 1 May 2010.
Ms Mthembi-Mahanyele will add substantial value at board level given her
previous experience as Minister of Housing under President Nelson
Mandela. Thereafter, she was appointed deputy secretary general of the
ANC between 2002 and 2008. She brings with her an extensive business
network, both in the country and across Africa.
Ms Mthembi-Mahanyele is currently a non-executive director of Equestra
Holdings Limited. She is also a non-executive director of ITB
Manufacturing (Pty) Limited, where she represents a group of high
profile women business executives.
Dawn looks forward with anticipation to her contribution on the Group`s
board.
