CHANGE OF NAME AND REVISED SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
At the general meeting held on 11 January 2010, shareholders approved, inter
alia, the change of the Company`s name from "Zambia Copper Investments Limited"
to "ZCI Limited". Shareholders are notified that the resolution to approve the
name change has been registered with CIPRO. The new salient dates and times
pertaining to the name change are as set out below:

Last day to trade before the name change on Friday, 14 May
Change of name on the JSE effective from commencement of Monday, 17 May
trading on
Shares will trade in the new name ZCI Limited and ISIN
BMG9887P1068 (The JSE share code will remain as ZCI) Monday, 17 May
from commencement of trading on
Record date for the name change on Friday, 21 May
CSDP/broker accounts updated on Monday, 24 May
Share certificates posted on (See note1) Wednesday, 26 May
Notes:
1. Shareholders will not be able to dematerialise or rematerialise shares in
"Zambia Copper Investments Limited" after Friday, 14 May 2010 and may only
dematerialise their replacement shares in "ZCI Limited" from Monday, 24 May
2010. Certificated shareholders who surrender their existing documents of
title on or before 12:00 on the record date will have their new share
certificates mailed on or about Wednesday, 26 May 2010.
2. The group`s ISIN number will be changed to BMG9887P1068
3. The above-mentioned dates and times are subject to amendment. Any such
amendment will be released on SENS.
4. All certificated shareholders are requested to surrender their existing
documents of title on or before the record date, being Friday, 21 May 2010.
