RESULTS OF THE RIGHTS OFFER
Shareholders are referred to the rights offer to Myriad shareholders which
closed on Friday, 23 April 2010 (the "rights offer").
The directors of Myriad are pleased to announce that shareholders and/or their
renouncees have applied for 182 325 267 new Myriad shares, equivalent to
approximately 147% of the 125 000 000 shares offered in terms of the rights
offer. The applications included excess applications for 66 408 426 rights
offer shares, 9 083 159 of which have been allocated equitably between the
applicants taking cognisance of the number of securities held by the
applicants and the number of excess rights offer shares applied for.
The accounts of dematerialised shareholders will be debited and updated by
their CSDP/broker and certificated shareholders will have certificates posted
to them on or about on Monday, 26 April 2010. Shareholders who applied for
excess rights offer shares will have the excess shares allocated to them
debited to their accounts by their CSDP/broker during the course of this week.
