In accordance with the proposed unbundling of Capital & Counties Properties
PLC from Liberty International PLC (to be renamed Capital Shopping Centres
Group PLC), the following timetable is expected to be followed for processing
the changes to FTSE/JSE indices:
Wednesday, 5 May 2010 ( after market close)
A technical notice (ICA) will be issued and published on the JSE website and
SENS which will be effective on Monday 10 May 2010. The ICA will detail all
the corporate actions treatment within the affected indices.
Monday 10 May 2010 (i.e. applied at close Friday 7 May 2010)
Name change: Liberty International PLC (GB0006834344, 6163822) to Capital
Shopping Centres Group PLC (ex entitlement to the unbundling).
Capital & Counties Properties PLC (GB00B62G9D36, B4X9T93) will be added to the
FTSE/JSE Africa Top 40 as per FTSE/JSE ground rule 6.2.4 - there will be 41
companies in the FTSE/JSE 40 and no index divisor change.
Please Note: Capital & Counties Properties PLC is classified as an Inward
Listing by SARB, and therefore ineligible for onward inclusion in FTSE/JSE
indices.
Tuesday 11 May 2010 ( after market close)
Capital & Counties Properties PLC will be deleted.
