CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the board of directors announces the resignation of Mr DA Johnston from the
board of Bonatla and the appointment of Mr DWB ("David") King as Chief Operating
Officer with immediate effect. David was previously a non-executive director on
the Bonatla board.
David was entitled to the designation CA (SA) at the age of 22. After completing
his articles with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, he spent 7 years in London working for
Credit Suisse. During this time he was instrumental in designing, modeling,
programming and implementing Credit Suisse`s Financial Risk Models, for both VAR
(Value at Risk) and ERC (Economic Risk Capital).
David joined the Bonatla board on 7th March 2007. During the past 3 years he has
been heavily involved in negotiating and structuring a number of transactions
for Bonatla. He brings to the Board many years of international technical
project management and team leadership experience, and a good knowledge of
property in the South African context.
During the next few months, David is intended to become chief executive officer
of Bonatla, upon completion of the pending property acquisitions while Niki
Vontas will concentrate on the completion of strategic international and local
transactions.
The board of directors look forward to David`s input and expertise in his new
role as Chief Operating Officer.
