Xstrata-Merafe Chrome Venture declares force majeure
Shareholders of the Company are advised that the Xstrata-Merafe Chrome Venture
has declared force majeure to its ferrochrome customers due to the ongoing
strike at Transnet. Developments on the strike will be constantly monitored and
a full assessment of the impact of the strike on the supply of ferrochrome can
only be completed once the level of participation becomes clear.
