KHUMAMA PLATINUM ARBITRATION HEARING UPDATE
Shareholders are referred to Mvela Resources` Interim Results comment released
on 9 March 2010, wherein it was announced that the arbitration hearing between
the Group and the former shareholders of Khumama Platinum (Pty) Limited had been
set for the first two weeks of May 2010.
Mvela Resources` shareholders are advised that the arbitration hearing commenced
as advised, but has not been completed. Due to time constraints, additional
dates are required and the arbitration will resume in the periods between
Tuesday 6 July 2010 to Friday 9 July 2010 and Monday 19 July 2010 to Friday 23
July 2010.
Mvela Resources is confident that the unbundling process, as previously stated,
will be completed before the end of the 2010 calendar year. The JSE Limited has
granted Mvela Resources until the end of December 2010 to remedy its pyramid
holding company status.
