COMPETITION COMMISSION APPROVAL
Previous announcements released on 9 February 2010 and 9 March 2010 relating to
the acquisition by the Trilinear Empowerment Trust ("Trilinear") of Absa Bank
Limited`s ("Absa") entire shareholding in the Company noted that the completion
of the above acquisition was subject to Competition Authorities approval.
The board is now pleased to announce that Trilinear have received approval from
the Competition Commission regarding the abovementioned acquisition.
