RIGHTS OFFER FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
1. Introduction
Shareholders are referred to the Terms announcement released on the Securities
Exchange News Service ("SENS") of the JSE Limited ("JSE") on 14 May 2010 and in
the press on 17 May 2010 wherein Hulamin announced the raising of R750 million
equity capital by way of a partially underwritten Rights Offer of 100 000
000 new ordinary shares of 10 cents each ("Rights Offer Shares") to qualifying
Hulamin ordinary shareholders and their renouncees, that are eligible to
participate, at a subscription price of R7.50 per Rights Offer Share in the
ratio of 46.25457 rights for every 100 Hulamin ordinary shares held on the
record date (the "Rights Offer").
2. Conditions precedent
All conditions precedent to the Rights Offer have now been fulfilled. The Rights
Offer will accordingly proceed in terms of the timetable set out below.

The salient dates and times in respect of the Rights Offer are set out below.

Last day to trade in ordinary shares in order to Friday, 28 May
participate in the Rights Offer (cum entitlement)
Ordinary shares commence trading ex-entitlement at Monday, 31 May

Listing of and trading in the letters of allocation on Monday, 31 May

Record date for the Rights Offer for purposes of Friday, 4 June

Notes:
a)Share certificates in respect of ordinary shares may not be dematerialised or
rematerialised between Monday, 31 May 2010 and Friday, 4 June 2010, both days
inclusive.
b)CSDPs effect payment on a delivery versus payment method in respect of
qualifying shareholders holding dematerialised shares.
c)If you are a qualifying shareholder holding dematerialised ordinary shares you
are required to notify your duly appointed CSDP or broker of your acceptance of
the Rights Offer in the manner and time stipulated in the custody agreement
governing the relationship between yourself and your CSDP or broker.
d)All times are South African times.
4. Circular
The Rights Offer circular setting out the detailed terms of the Rights Offer
will be posted to shareholders on Monday, 7 June 2010.
