Shareholders are advised that at the AGM of the members of Metropolitan held in
Bellville, Cape Town on Tuesday, 25 May 2010, all the resolutions set out in the
Notice of the AGM were passed by the requisite majority of shareholders. The
special resolution to repurchase the Company`s shares will be lodged for
registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office in
due course.
