APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the board of directors of IFA ("the IFA Board") are pleased to announce
the appointment of Mr. Wessel Pretorius Witthuhn to the IFA board as Executive
Director, and Cornelius Johannes Schutte as company secretary ("the
appointees") with effect from 31 May 2010. Brief details of the appointees are
set out hereunder.
Wessel Pretorius Witthuhn (BSc Building Science, MSc Building, COIB, AAArb).
Mr. Witthuhn was employed by Grinaker from 1995 which included various roles
including that of General Manager of Grinaker Infrastructure Development until
2001. He joined Damac Properties in Dubai as Vice-President in 2002. During 2003
to 2006 he managed the Real Estate and Property Management divisions within the
Al-Rostamani Group in Dubai. In May 2006 he joined IFA Hotels & Resorts Kuwait
as the Vice- President Design and Development, Africa & Indian Ocean and was
promoted to President of IFA Africa & Indian Ocean in July 2008.
Cornelius Johannes Schutte (CA (S.A.))
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are further advised that Ms Krishnee Pillay has resigned
as the Company Secretary of IFA with effect from 31 May 2010 and Mr. Cornelius
Johannes Schutte who will forthwith assume this role.
The Company would like to welcome the appointees to the IFA Board and look
forward to the value they will add through their exceptional expertise.
The IFA Board would like to thank Ms Pillay for her contribution to the success
of the Company and wishes her all the best with her future endeavours.
