RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
JCI shareholders are advised that at the general meeting of the company held on
Friday, 4 June 2010, all the special and ordinary resolutions proposed thereat
were passed with votes in favour in excess of 99% of shareholders present and
voting. The special resolutions have been lodged with the Registrar of Companies
for registration.
A further announcement will be made once the special resolutions have been
registered, confirming the date on which Gold Fields shares will be transferred
and New JCI shares will be issued to Randgold & Exploration Company Limited in
terms of the circular to JCI shareholders dated 13 May 2010. The date of these
actions is expected to be Monday, 5 July 2010.
Further to the cautionary announcements, the last of which was dated
23 April 2010, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when
trading in their JCI shares over-the-counter until a further announcement is
made.
