TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become
reasonably certain that the financial results for the next reporting period will
differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that it is expected that basic earnings
per share and headline earnings per share attributable to ordinary shareholders
for the year ending 30 June 2010 will decrease by more than 20% compared to
those reported for the previous corresponding period, but the board of directors
("the Board") is unable to quantify a range or percentage at this stage.
However, the Company refers shareholders to the announcement released on SENS on
18 March 2010 in which the Board disclosed that it remains cautiously optimistic
that the Company will report a positive performance by year-end.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Company`s external auditors.
