CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SACMH
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
notice is hereby given that Mr VP Garg has been appointed to the board of
directors of SACMH as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Mr VP Garg is a Chartered Accountant (B.Com, A.C.A.) and is Vice President
(Commercial) of JSW Steel Limited, one of the listed entities of the JSW Group
of India. He is responsible for the procurement of US $ 1,5 billion of raw
materials (including coal) and the Malaysian coal mines of JSW Steel. Another
subsidiary of the JSW Group, JSW Energy Limited, recently acquired a significant
stake in SACMH. Mr VP Garg was instrumental in the negotiations with SACMH and
serves on the boards of directors of various other companies.
The board of SACMH welcomes Mr VP Garg and looks forward to a long and valued
working relationship.
