CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with section 3.59 of the JSE Limited`s Listing Requirements, the
Board of SELCo is pleased to advise of the appointment of a new Executive
Director, with immediate effect, to replace Allen van Zyl who resigned in
February 2010.
This appointment has been preceded by a thorough process of internal evaluations
as the board was intent on appointing someone with a solid understanding of
SELCo, its subsidiaries and related entities ("the SELCO Group") and the
industry in which they operate. The Board has found such a candidate in Mrs
Sannah Nyovane who has served the SELCo Group in various capacities for more
than a decade. Sannah has strong management skills and extensive experience in
the manufacturing field. As a SELCo director, Sannah will have overall
responsibility for the technology manufacturing and distribution function.
Sannah has worked her way up within the SELCo Group from Production Supervisor
for Netelek in 2001 to Production Manager in 2003 and ultimately General Manager
in 2008. Prior to joining the SELCo Group she served as Project Leader: Black
Economic Empowerment for Spescom Electronics (subsequently acquired by Siemens).
The Board looks forward to the contribution Sannah will make to the SELCo group
and its employees as a whole and would like to welcome her to the Board.
