INVESTEC APPOINTS NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Investec is pleased to announce, in accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE
Limited Listing Requirements and Rule 9.6.11 of the UK Listing Rules, the
appointment, effective 18 June 2010, of Peregrine Crosthwaite as a Non-Executive
Director of Investec plc and Investec Limited.
Perry is a former partner of Henderson Crosthwaite Limited and the founding
director of Henderson Crosthwaite Institutional Brokers. He was previously a
director of Investec Bank (UK) Limited (known today as Investec Bank plc).
Save for the directorships listed in the notes, there are no further details
required to be disclosed by Rule 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.
