TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of rule 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of theJSE Limited a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the next reporting
period will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous reporting period.
Shareholders are advised that headline earnings per share ("HEPS") and earnings
per shares ("EPS") for the year ending 30 June 2010 are expected to be between
22% and 31% higher than the 10,7 cents per share of the previous reporting
period.
Normalised HEPS for the year ending 30 June 2010 are expected to be between 13%
and 21% higher than the 12,8 cents per share for the previous reporting period.
Normalised HEPS are calculated by excluding the impact of non-recurring costs
and fair value adjustments relating to interest rate swaps which do not comply
with hedge accounting requirements.
