Further to the cautionary announcement dated 26 May 2010, both Sasfin and

progress which, if successfully concluded may have a material effect on the
price at which the shares of both Mercantile and Sasfin trade. Accordingly,
shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in their
Mercantile and Sasfin shares until a detailed announcement is made.
