Shareholders are referred to the circular to BJM shareholders dated Friday, 18
June 2010 relating to the acquisition by Renaissance Securities Holdings (SA)
(Proprietary) Limited of Barnard Jacobs Mellet Securities (Proprietary) Limited,
a wholly owned subsidiary of BJM ("the Transaction"). Shareholders are advised
that at the general meeting of BJM held today, all the ordinary resolutions and
the special resolution were approved by the requisite majority of shareholders
to effect the Transaction.
The special resolution will be lodged for registration with the Companies and
Intellectual Property Registration Office in due course.
