African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle", "AFE" or "the Company", ticker
AIM: AFE, AltX: AEA) was notified today that Mr Christopher Davies, a Director,
purchased 48,768 ordinary shares in the Company on July 13, 2010. The ordinary
shares were purchased at a price of 4.05 pence per share. Accordingly Mr
Davies` beneficial interest in the share capital of the Company is now 1,020,498
ordinary shares representing approximately 0.34 per cent of the issued share
capital of the Company.
