RETIREMENT OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, notice is hereby given that Messrs Brian Patrick Connellan and Martin
John Shaw have retired as a nonexecutive, independent directors of Illovo.
In presenting his address at the 95th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the
Company, held earlier in the day, the Chairman of the Company, Mr R A Williams,
in noting that Messrs Connellan and Shaw were retiring at the AGM, after serving
as a non-executive, independent directors since 1993 and 2001 respectively,
thanked both of them for their valuable contribution and wise counsel over the
long periods of time that they had been members of the Illovo board.
