As part of the dual listed company structure, Investec plc and Investec Limited
notify both the London Stock Exchange and the JSE Limited of matters which are
required to be disclosed under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules and the
Listing Rules of the United Kingdom Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and/or the
JSE Listing Requirements.
Accordingly, we advise of the following:
BLOCK LISTING - INVESTEC PLC
Investec plc announces that approval was granted for a block listing of up to
1,651,057 new ordinary shares of GBP0.0002 each in the capital of Investec plc
(the "New plc Ordinary Shares"). The New plc Ordinary Shares will be issued
pursuant to the exercise of staff options, held in terms of the Rensburg
Sheppards plc ("Rensburg") Savings Related Share Option Scheme 2002, vesting
following the completion of Investec plc`s acquisition of Rensburg.
Approval has been granted for the admission of the New plc Ordinary Shares to
trade on the London Stock Exchange and admission to the Official List and the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange with effect from 23 July 2010. When issued, the
shares shall rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of Investec
plc.
