DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANGLO AMERICAN PLC HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("AGLIHG")
With reference to the interim dividend announcement, the Directors of Anglo
American plc have declared a interim dividend of R1.8309 per ordinary share,
payable on Thursday, 16 September 2010 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Friday 20 August 2010.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
AGLIHG, will receive an Anglo American plc final dividend of R1.8309 per
security. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in
the dividend will be Friday 13 August 2010.
AGLIHG Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday 16 August 2010, and the record date
will be Friday 20 August 2010.
