SUSPENSION OF LISTING AND CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shareholders are advised that the Company`s auditors are in the process of
completing the audit for the year ending 30 April 2010. They advised the board
of directors that significant write-offs are required on certain assets. The
result of these adjustments will be that the Company will have a large negative
equity.
The following directors of Beget resigned with effect from 2 August 2010:
Messrs. A Bennie, JF Nalane, CJ van Coller and AH Potgieter (Jnr).
In the light of the aforegoing, the two remaining directors, Messrs. AH
Potgieter and D Hawkins, applied to the JSE Limited ("JSE") for the immediate
suspension of the listing of the Company`s shares on the JSE, which request was
granted by the JSE with effect from 4 August 2010.
