DECLARED CASH DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON GOLD FIELDS LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("GFIIDI")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Gold Fields
Limited have declared a dividend of 70 SA cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 30 August 2010 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 27 August 2010.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, GFIIDI,
will receive a Gold Fields Limited dividend of 70 SA cents per security on
Monday, 30 August 2010 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 20 August 2010.
GFIIDI Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 23 August 2010, and the record date will
be Friday, 27 August 2010.
