RESULTS OF THE RIGHTS OFFER
Further to the announcements on the Securities Exchange News Service ("SENS") on
21 June 2010 and 2 July 2010, shareholders of Medi-Clinic ("Shareholders") are
advised that the results of the renounceable rights offer of 59 301 395 Medi-
Clinic ordinary shares ("Rights Offer Shares") to Shareholders or their
renouncees at a price of 2 300 cents per Rights Offer Share ("the Rights
Offer"), which closed on Friday, 6 August 2010, are as follows:

The Rights Offer Shares in respect of excess applications have been allocated in
an equitable manner, taking cognisance of the number of Medi-Clinic shares held
by each applicant prior to such allocation and the number of Rights Offer Shares
for which application was made.
The Rights Offer was underwritten by The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited
("the Underwriter"). Due to the fact that the Rights Offer was fully subscribed,
after taking into account the excess applications received, the Underwriter will
not be allocated any Rights Offer Shares.
The timetable for the issue and settlement of the Rights Offer Shares is set out
below.
