CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the following
information is disclosed:
Shareholders are advised of the appointment of Mr Ashwin Hirjee Trikamjee as an
independent non-executive director with effect from 13 August 2010. Mr
Trikamjee has a legal background and an illustrious career in the legal
fraternity. He is a practicing attorney, and has acted as a judge of the
Supreme Court, Natal Provincial Division. He is currently the deputy chairman
of Lion Match Limited and a director of Old Mutual Life Assurance Company
Limited (SA). He is one of the high ranking Hindu priests in South Africa.
Shareholders are furthermore advised that Dr NJ Dlamini has resigned as an
independent non-executive director from the board of Gijima AST Group Limited
with effect from 31 August 2010. The Board would like to thank Dr Dlamini for
her valuable contribution to the board and Company during the past five years
and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
