TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as
soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial
results for the current reporting period will be more than
20% different from that of the previous corresponding period
being 30 June 2009 (the "prior comparative period").
Shareholders are advised that AOE expects earnings per share
to be between 18% and 21% higher for the year ended 30 June
2010 as compared to the prior comparative period and
headline earnings per share to be between 24% and 27% higher
for the year ended 30 June 2010 as compared to the prior
comparative period.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on
by AOE`s external auditors. The Company`s results for the
year ended 30 June 2010 are expected to be published on or
about 8 September 2009.
