Results of general meeting
Shareholders are referred to the circular to Awethu shareholders dated Friday, 6
August 2010 relating to the disposal of property and certain moveable brewery
assets by Awethu in terms of section 228 of the Companies Act, 1973 (Act 61 of
1973) as amended, to United National Breweries SA (Pty) Limited ("the
Transaction"), and are advised that at the general meeting of Awethu
shareholders held today, the ordinary resolution and the special resolutions
were approved by the requisite majority of shareholders to effect the
Transaction.
The special resolutions will be lodged for registration with the Companies and
Intellectual Property Registration Office in due course.
