ANNOUNCEMENT TO SHAREHOLDERS
Shareholders are advised that Mr. GM Scrutton (B.Com (Hons) (Wits), CTA, CA
(SA)) has been appointed as Financial Director of the company with effect from
1 September 2010.
Grant is a Chartered Accountant, having articled at KPMG in South Africa.
Grant served two years in the KPMG Seattle (USA) office during which time he
was involved in the NASDAQ listing of `The Hillhaven Group`. Prior to joining
Winhold, he was the CEO of the listed South African Coal Mining Holdings
Limited (part of the Royal Bafokeng Group of companies) and prior to this was
the Finance Director of Afgri Producer Services for five years, where he was a
member of the turnaround team. Grant has also fulfilled the role of Group
Finance Director at Powertech Limited and, before that, at Voltex Limited,
both of which companies were listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and
were involved in significant public transactions
