CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Further to the announcement released on SENS on 23 June 2010 relating to the
early retirement of Mr Gerhard Swiegers as the Chief Financial Officer of Medi-
Clinic, it is hereby announced that Mr Swiegers has stepped down and Mr Craig
Tingle has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Medi-Clinic with
effect from 1 September 2010. Mr Swiegers will remain on the board of Medi-
Clinic until 15 September 2010.
As previously reported, Mr Tingle has been the Chief Financial Officer of Medi-
Clinic`s interests in Dubai for the last four years. Mr Tingle was also the
Chief Financial Officer of Medi-Clinic from 1992 to 1999 and remained a non-
executive director of the company from 1999 until he became the Chief Financial
Officer in Dubai.
The Board wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Mr Swiegers for his huge
contribution to the Group over many years.
