TRADING UPDATE
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a
listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as there is a
reasonable degree of certainty that the earnings of the company are likely to
differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are hereby advised that the Company is reasonably certain that its
unaudited results for the 6 months ended 31 August 2010, will reflect positive
earnings per share ("EPS") and headline earnings per share ("HEPS"), compared to
the losses of the previous corresponding period.
The improvement in the Company`s results is a continuance of the positive trend
in trading and profitability reported for the final 6 months of the last
financial year.
At this stage, the Company is unable to quantify, with reasonable certainty, the
expected range of the improved EPS and HEPS for the 6 months ended 31 August
2010 and a further trading statement will be released by the Company once it is
able to qualify the expected range of EPS and HEPS.
The information in this trading update has not been reviewed or reported on by
the Company`s auditors.
