EXPERT AND NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING
With reference to the announcements published on SENS on 20 and 26 August 2010
wherein shareholders of Simeka were informed that the Company had entered into
agreements by which it is proposing to implement certain BEE transactions,
shareholders are advised that the appointment of BDO Corporate Finance (Pty) Ltd
and the fairness opinion provided by them on the BEE transactions has been
formally processed and approved by the JSE Limited. The circular to
shareholders detailing the BEE transactions, containing a copy of the fairness
opinion and convening a general meeting of shareholders to approve the BEE
transactions will be posted to shareholders today. The general meeting will be
held at 14:30 on Monday, 11 October 2010 at 10 Kikuyu Road, Sunninghill,
Gauteng.
