DECLARED A FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON FIRSTRAND LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("FSRIDG")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of FirstRand Limited
have declared a final cash dividend of 43.00 cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 18 October 2010 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 15 October 2010.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, FSRIDG,
will receive a FirstRand Limited final dividend of 43.00 cents per security on
Monday, 18 October 2010, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 08 October 2010.
FSRIDG Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 11 October 2010, and the record date
will be Friday, 15 October 2010.
