TRADING UPDATE
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they
become reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will be more than 20% different from those of the previous
corresponding period or from a profit forecast previously provided to the market
in relation to such period.
The board would like to advise shareholders that the earnings per share has
decreased by approximately 85% for the year ended 30 June 2010. The decrease was
due to the fact that the property values have stabilized after the transfer of
the Gmeiner portfolio and only minor adjustments to the property values were
required. However, due to increased rentals and recoveries from the larger
portfolio there will be an expected improvement of more than 100% on the prior
year headline earnings per share.
