TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20%
from that of the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, a review of the
financial results for the year ended 31 July 2010 by management has indicated
that earnings and headline earnings per share are expected to be between 100%
and 110% higher than the previous corresponding period. Adjusted earnings per
share, as reported last year, which equates to headline earnings excluding
amortisation charges, unrealised foreign exchange losses on forward exchange
contracts and group loans, is expected to be between 12% and 22% higher than the
previous corresponding period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by SecureData`s auditors.
SecureData`s final results are expected to be published on SENS on or about 6
October 2010.
