Lonrho Plc (AIM: LONR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kiran Caldas
Morzaria to the Board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director with immediate
effect.
Mr Morzaria, aged 36, holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Geology) from
the Camborne School of Mines and an MBA (Finance) from CASS Business School. He
has ten years of experience in the mineral resource industry covering gold and
diamonds, and is currently a director of three other AIM-traded companies.
Kiran Morzaria has held the following directorships in the past five years:

Tubutama Limited and Tubutama Borax Plc, of which Kiran Morzaria was a director,
are currently the subject of a members` voluntary winding up (the liquidators
being appointed on 7 July 2010). The liquidation was part of an agreed process
by which the Company had agreed to sell the underlying company`s asset in
Mexico. The consideration for the sale of the Mexican asset was shares in a
listed entity in Canada, therefore the current members will receive these shares
which will be distributed once the transaction has been completed.
Arlington Resources Plc, of which Kiran Morzaria was a director, was dissolved
on 15 December 2007 following a voluntary members` liquidation.
There are no further details in relation to the above appointment which require
disclosure under paragraph (g) (iii) to (viii) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules.
