POSTING OF SHOPRITE`S ANNUAL REPORT AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
In compliance with section 3.22 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised as follows:
Annual report
Further to Shoprite`s results for the year ended 30 June 2010, published on
24 August 2010, the annual report was posted on Thursday, 30 September 2010.
The annual report contains no modifications to the aforementioned published
year-end results.
Annual General Meeting
The annual general meeting of the members of Shoprite will be held at 09:15
on Monday, 25 October 2010 at the company`s head office, Corner William Dabs
and Old Paarl Roads, Brackenfell, South Africa, to transact the business as
stated in the notice of the annual general meeting forming part of the annual
report.
